Katherine Boll Junior Katherine Boll of the Muhlenberg volleyball team picked up another postseason honor when she was selected to the ECAC South All-Star first team.

Boll previously received All-America honorable mention and was named to the All-North Region first team by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (the first Mule to accomplish those feats since 2004). She also was an All-Centennial Conference first-team seelction.

Boll led the Mules in kills per set (2.61, 13th in the CC), hitting percentage (.315, fifth) and blocks per set (0.98, third) while finishing third in service aces (46). Her hitting percentage was the second best in a season in team history, and she had the third-most blocks.

During the season, Boll was named to three all-tournament teams, at Gettysburg, Neumann and Muhlenberg’s Buttermaker Tournament.

Through three seasons, Boll is in Muhlenberg’s all-time top 10 in blocks (fifth with 254) and kills (eighth with 764).

Boll helped the Mules to a 25-8 season that included a school-record 13-match winning streak, an NCAA regional ranking, votes in the national poll for the first time ever and a trip to the CC championship match.
